Allyson Diggins, a second year doctoral student and member of the iRACE team, received the Outstanding Diversity Research Award at the University of Florida’s College of Public Health and Health Professions Diversity Day held in Gainesville, FL. on October 23rd. Her research poster entitled “Project CARE: A Culturally Relevant Intervention for Black Breast Cancer Survivors” highlights the importance of adaptive psychosocial interventions for improving the health trajectory of Black breast cancer survivors.
