On June 20, 2017, Dr. Nicole Ennis Presented at the 79th Annual Scientific Meeting of the College on Problems of Drug Dependence (CPDD) in Montreal, Canada. The project entitled The Prevalence and patterns of substance use across age cohorts in HIV+ adults within the state of Florida investigates the prevalence of past 12-month substance use and differences between four distinct age cohorts of HIV-positive adults in Florida. Results show that age appears to be associated with substance use among HIV-positive adults; therefore, it is critical to develop substance use interventions tailored for unique age cohorts of HIV-positive individuals.
