Dr. Nicole Ennis has been appointed to the American Psychological Association (APA) Continuing Education Committee (CEC) for a 3 year term. The CEC works with two different offices within APA, the Office of CE Sponsor Approval (CESA) and the Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The Office of CE Sponsor Approval (CESA) provides administrative support related to the process of approving organizations that wish to offer CE credit, provides educational and technical assistance, and facilitates research in the area of CE. The Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP) is responsible for the independent study program, online programs, and programs offered for CE credit at APA Convention. The CESA and CEP are both housed organizationally within the APA Education Directorate.
Dr. Ennis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences & Social Medicine in the College of Medicine at the Florida State University. Her mission is to build a learning and responsive healthcare system that improves care for underserved populations.
