Erin Ferguson has received a travel award from the Office of Graduate Diversity Initiatives to attend the 2018 Southern Regional Education Board’s Institute on Teaching and Mentoring Conference. The conference will be held in Arlington, VA from October 25-28. The Institute on Teaching and Mentoring is the largest gathering of underrepresented minority Ph.D. scholars in the country and provides workshops and opportunities for networking and recruitment, ultimately for the purpose of facilitating students’ success as faculty members at universities. Erin looks forward to attending!
