Eugene M. Dunne presented his research at the 78th annual meeting of the College on Problems of Drug Dependence in Palm Springs, California. Eugene’s analysis examined associations between reasons for use while in the NFL and current use behavior among retired players. Eugene collaborated with Dr. Linda Cottler to expand on her previously published study on this unique population of elite athletes. Additional collaborators on the project include iRace lab member Zach Mannes and lab director Dr. Nicole Ennis, along with Dr. Catherine Striley in UF’s Department of Epidemiology. Be on the look out for the published manuscript in the near future!
