July is the official month of Minority Mental Health Awareness. Access to mental health care for minorities can be a challenge. Reaching out for mental health care takes courage. The goal is to find someone you can relate to so you feel comfortable opening up and getting the help you need. Make sure to identify if it is good fit early so you get all you can from the experience; and if needed move on to someone who makes you feel comfortable.
