On July 26, 2017, Dr. Ennis led a webinar as part of the Southeast AIDS Education & Training Center Program (SEAETC) whose mission is to increase the number of health care providers who are effectively educated and motivated to counsel, diagnose, treat, and medically manage people with HIV disease, and to help prevent high-risk behaviors that lead to HIV transmission.
The webinar focused on Coping with Stigma & Other Stressors, and in this live video conference, Dr. Ennis defined stigma and other related stressors. She described the biobehavioral model and explained healthy strategies to coping with stressors in the context of HIV stigma.
